Chelsea are gearing up for another high-octane transfer window as they prepare to strengthen key areas across the pitch this summer. With ambitions still sky-high under Todd Boehly’s ownership, the Blues are targeting reinforcements at center-back, winger, and striker positions.
Among the defenders on Chelsea’s radar is Bournemouth’s rising talent Dean Hson, a name reportedly prioritized by recruitment chief Bedel Egali.
Also in the mix are Marc Guéhi, the current Crystal Palace captain and a former Chelsea academy star, along with Jarrad Branthwaite, Everton’s standout center-back who has impressed throughout the season.
On the wings, Chelsea are once again showing interest in Alejandro Garnacho, the explosive Manchester United starlet they were heavily linked with last year. Other wide options include Jamie Bynoe-Gittens from Borussia Dortmund and Nico Williams of Athletic Club—both known for their pace, flair, and youth potential.
In attack, Chelsea have a long-standing interest in Liam Delap, currently at Ipswich Town. Importantly, Delap is understood to have a relegation release clause,
which could make a deal more accessible. However, he’s far from the only name on the Blues’ shortlist.
The club is also eyeing high-profile forwards including Hugo Ekitike, Benjamin Šeško, Jonathan David, and Victor Osimhen—one of Europe’s most sought-after strikers. With these names in play, Chelsea are clearly not holding back in their quest to build a title-contending squad.
Since Boehly’s takeover in summer 2022, Chelsea have made a staggering 46 signings, spending over £1.2 billion in total. Despite the massive investment, the West London giants appear determined to continue their aggressive rebuild.
As the summer transfer window approaches, Chelsea fans can expect more big moves, headline-grabbing signings, and a renewed push to get back among Europe’s elite.
